Band
The Holy Ghost Orchestra supports the school's commitment to provide opportunities for students to develop their musical abilities. The school orchestra is comprised of students from the fourth through eighth grades. Its director meets with the orchestra a minimum of twice a week and is a faculty member with licensure in music. Orchestra members are required to practice thirty minutes a day.

Faith Challenge Bowl
Students can widen thier understanding of their Catholic faith. One Friday during the spring semester, Holy Ghost students compete against other Catholic school students for honors by answering questions about religious terms they have learned, as well as Catholic doctrine and principles.

Choir
All students, third through fifth grade, are members of the choir. They sing for school and parish liturgies, senior citizens, concerts, graduation, First Communion and other events.

Chbess Club
Elementary and middle school teams compete in city wide chess matches. The Chess Club is open to all Holy Ghost students. Students do not need to know how to play to join. Students are taught the fundamentals of the game, with 5 or 6 matches a year, usually once a month.

Peer Club
Tutors are middle school student volunteers who are members of the academic honor roll. Daily tutoring is provided after school.

Science Fair
Science Fair is an annual event. Students in grades K-3 work on class projects; fourth through eight grade students submit individual projects. All middle school students have the opportunity to work with qualified mentors from the community. The mentors help expand the students' understanding of the scientific method while helping them prepare their projects.

Service Club
The Service Club was started in 1997 to develop student leadership skills while in service to others. Members of the Service Club assist the assistant principal in numerous projects related to service for others within the community.

Spirit Club
The Spirit Club was started in 1999 to develop school spirit while in service to others. Members of the Spirit Club assist the principal in numerous projects related to building school spirit and supporting extra-curricular activities. The Spirit Club sponsors the annual Reading t-shirt logo contest.

Student Council
Holy Ghost's Student Council is a student-run organization. Each class has a representative in the council's legislative body. These students are tasked to identify areas of concern or in need of attention. The Student Council officers work closely with the principal to improve school climate based on students' ideas.
